A soft whine left her lips as she pouted in the direction of the brunette, usually on that planet they would tag back….it would always lead to a bout of wrestling though, she didn’t know if humans did that too. The Lo’ki looked between them wondering if they knew the game even, maybe there was no time for games on this planet. No wonder they were all so bitter on earth! She should teach these two the games of her people, maybe then they would lighten up then! She tilted her head slightly in confusion and took a step closer to them. She was growing more and more comfortable around these two, now that she was sure that they weren’t going to attack her. She trusted all too easily, but she wasn’t too worried about them turning on her so soon.
There was more talking that she didn’t understand, so she just blinked and looked at them curiously whenever they made eye contact. The blonde looked at her thoughtfully, making her tilt her head again in her usual bird-like way. Her body suddenly shook, her eyes closing for a second as one of her legs came up like a flamingo’s would. The Lo’ki yawned, opened her eyes, and then looked back at them both. She continued to which she knew what they were talking about.

Watching as the creature continued seeking attention, Tommy found himself chuckling lightly at it's boredom. If nothing else, it certainly knew how to illicit reactions from people, given the fact Miles seemed intently focused on it. While he knew he may come off a bit boring to the creature, Tommy had never really been the kind to play tag, and hadn't caught on in the least that that had been what the creature wanted... As good as he could be at tuning into music and trouble, and as friendly as he liked to consider himself... Sometimes, the simple pleasures in life merely passed him by without notice.
"Heh... She's got a voice on her, alright. Maybe if we can teach her to speak, she could put it to use with some of those noise rock bands I've recorded with in the past... Some of those guys, they'll take anything that can screech or shriek and build a song around it..." Tommy absentmindedly answered Miles' questions, still thinking on what should be done for the animal. "Tag, huh? I, uh... I don't think I quite know that game, go figure, right? And yeah, I'm sure we'll find something to her liking. What about you, you some kinda vegetarian or something? I got all kinds of food, for all kinds of occasions, but... Doesn't do me much good to cook something for a guest they ain't gonna like..."
Thinking for another minute, something a but more noteworthy came to his mind as the creature seemingly yawned, probably wondering when something was going to happen. "Hey... How do you suppose we'll get her back to my place without drawing attention? I mean... I don't think either of has a car or anything, you know? This might prove a tad bit difficult..."
Upon Miles' question as to what to call her, Tommy tried to think of the various planets he'd heard of aliens being taken from, and used as pets... She couldn't be Lemurian, since she was clearly out of the water and not amphibious... He didn't know of any wildlife native to Gehenna that was safe to have... Well... Anywhere... But, he'd heard of an almost humanoid species on a small colony planet, called Xanerti or something... As memory served, the humanoid species were called Lo'ki or something similar, almost like the Norse God. "Well... As for what to call her, I've heard of humanoid creatures being kidnapped from a small colony world, Xanerti... I think the species is called Lo'ki... Maybe we could call her Loki, after the name of what may be her people, and the Norse trickster God? Or maybe something a bit simpler, like... Xanny? In homage to that planet?"

Miles laughed at the noise rock bit. He wasn't the biggest fan of noise rock, and the subtle rip on them just made Tommy that much cooler in Miles' eyes. He was probably one of the few people on earth, or so it seemed, who would get that joke. What Tommy said next shocked him. He didn't know what tag was. Did Tommy even have a childhood? Miles figured that maybe Tommy just sang when he was a kid. And did nothing else, ever. It would explain his voice being as good as it is. Still, though, someone not knowing what tag was? Miles was admittedly a bit disappointed, with his powers and his parkour background, he would be a master at tag.
"I'd love to try to teach her to speak!" Miles said, keeping the grin. That was a challenge he'd be willing to undertake. It would probably be the most difficult thing ever, but hey, anything's possible, right? Miles had leapt across many a rooftop, what made this so impossible? Nothing. Who knows, maybe Miles would even have fun with it! Of course, this was all assuming he could ever hold the creature's attention. That would be the difficult part.
"I don't eat red meat, but anything else I'm fine with." It was the truth, but he almost considered saying that he was fine with anything. After all, it seemed like Tommy MacGrady was going to cook him dinner. What? Miles crossed his arms behind his back a bit, passing it off like he was stretching, but he really pinched himself. He was awake. Hadn't he already checked if he was dreaming? Still, this day was... Unreal.
Tommy's next question was... Oh boy. That was a difficult one indeed. Miles thought for a bit, looking around.
"Where's your place? I know the rooftops pretty well, and nobody ever looks there. I can scout it out, I can climb stuff pretty quickly. I figure if you can keep her under control then we can get there nice and safe." The climbing bit was an understatement. He could be a gymnast if he wanted to, but he preferred running and jumping than all of that technical stuff. Plus, gold medals looked dorky.
"I like Xanny. I think Xanny suits her better," Miles said with a grin, turning to the newly-dubbed Xanny.
"You're Xanny now! Do you like your name?" Maybe Miles was getting a bit too attached. One day, they would probably have to part. Hopefully, they would be able to communicate by then. Miles just hoped that he could spend enough time with Xanny to teach her enough to be fluent in English. Maybe he could buy some of those educational baby movies? They supposedly help babies read and speak, so... Why not? Xanny wasn't a baby, at least she probably wasn't, but she wouldn't know the difference. Yeah! And then, once those were done... Miles figured that Xanny might know enough to understand Miles if he talked slowly. Maybe even smaller words and sentences. That would be great.
Still, Miles couldn't help but feel as if he was one part of some kind of messed up, long lost family. And somehow he was fine with it.

She picked up her first word. ‘Xanny’. What did it mean? It didn’t sound very nice…were they insulting her? The blonde turned to her and said that word. She hissed at him, baring her teeth in disgust. Was Xanny a human insult?...Lo’ki insults were much stronger…though they were usually roars, hisses, and snarls. They would claw at the ground, kicking up dirt. They would slash their stingers in front of the faces of the person they didn’t like. It was intense, she wondered how humans fought….it was probably nothing like the Lo’ki way! She held back a scoff and tried to think about it, she imagined them flailing about like fishes, kicking up dirt and yelling at each other. It was almost enough to break her serious expression directed at the blonde. It soon faded; however, when something else snatched her attention.
Food. Food was a nice motivator, always. She had heard something scurrying around in the alleyway, so while they spoke she wandered off in search of her one food. Her steps became lighter, quieter as her eyes narrowed. Her shoulder blades shifted in a sultry way as she moved, her eyes quickly adjusting the darkness. She paused, waited and heard it climb up a fire escape. She pounced, jumping onto a dumpster in order to then jump onto the fire escape ledge. Her finger-like appendages on her foot wrap around the ledge, but she can’t find the rat anymore. She let out a disappointed grunt and looks up toward the roof. It looked….like it would give her a nice view.
Her skin parted like the red sea as she used her foot to hop off the ledge. Her wings quickly leap into action and rush out, trapping the air underneath them as the Lo’ki beat her wings. It was harder to fly in a tight space, especially with a throbbing hip, but she got up to the room without crashing back down to the ground at least. If she could get up high enough, get lift, she probably wouldn’t feel her wound until she tried to land. The Lo’ki’s wings retreated back into her body, the parting in her skin closing as if nothing had broken in, and she looks around the roof for a moment before coming to the edge and looking down at the two humans. She chirps happily down to them and taps her chest with a both her flat palms, a gesture asking them to come up with her.

The roofs seemed like as good a way as any to get back to his place. Miles had a point in saying no one ever looked there... Despite the abundance of supers who could easily fly or levitate in the air, those sent to hunt them down weren't exactly big on traipsing across rooftops, even when they were allowed to use their own powers... Something about the concept must be what kept them away... While the hunted rarely had issues running to higher ground where they could be seen, the authorities rarely did... Maybe it was all a ploy to keep the brutality they dished out so willingly on those with powers from becoming public knowledge... Or, maybe every authority figure in the universe had some strange, adverse fear of heights...
Either way, it shortly became apparent they didn't have much of a choice left at all. After hearing the term 'Xanny', she reacted harshly, first hissing at Miles, than taking off into an alley, which would lead most people to assume she was leaving in anger... However, Tommy heard the scampering of small feet, and came to the conclusion she was probably chasing some rodent to get a meal out of it... If they managed to get her back to the building without issue, the cuisine might truly shock he palette, if she was used to dining on raw sewer animals...
Once he saw the shape of the alien flying up towards a roof, Tommy couldn't help but feel a bit of trepidation over the situation... Maybe she could fly, but... If she drew too much attention... Well, the authorities wouldn't go up to the roofs themselves, most of the time... But, when someone or something was deemed a threat, their bullets didn't seem quite so unwilling to head up. Thinking quick, Tommy did the only thing he imagined he could in the situation. Turning to Miles, he spoke quickly. "Alright... Rooftops it is! Let's find a way up there, and try to keep her in the center, to avoid attention."
Still attempting to keep himself from revealing his own abilities, Tommy began taking the long way up, finding a nearby fire escape and climbing up. It'd be a slow work for him, and just teleporting through the sound of her beating fists would speed things exponentially... But, there was no reasonable way to explain that away... Hopefully Miles'd be able to get up faster, and hold her attention until he made it up... Then they could begin taking the path back to his place, and try and relax, if only for a bit...

The hiss sent Miles back a bit, and he raised his hands to show that the word meant no harm. Or, at least, that was what he tried to do. So... She didn't even like her own name, now? Maybe naming her Loki would have been better. Still, the name "Xanny" just worked! Miles couldn't explain it. Maybe it was one of those circumstances where he named something and then wasn't able to see it as anything else. That might have happened twice in his life, including now, but he figured that it would be weird to be named something other than Miles.
Then, she flew. Just like that. She began to climb, sure, Miles thought that was cool, but she just flew. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped a bit. That was...
"...So cool!" he said, laughing a bit. Of course, roofs were no problem for Miles. When Tommy said they should be heading there, Miles agreed and ran over to the fire escape. Tommy had the same idea, but he was taking the long way, climbing each individual staircase. Miles jumped up, reaching the side and climbing up that. Upon seeing a pipe next to him, he jumped over to that and began to climb that. That proved much quicker, with much easier footing. He made it up with- careful now- Xanny in no time.
He grinned at her, hoping all was forgiven. There was the issue of her disliking her name.
"Well, it's obvious you don't like X-... The 'X' word as your name," he said, trying to keep his words as lighthearted and nonthreatening as possible. He was sure that Xanny could push him off the ledge with ease. Miles wasn't exactly rippling with muscle.
"What do you propose?" He doubted she would have any other ideas. Miles was still at a loss over how to convince her that Xanny was a name, not something to be hissed over. He could only imagine what would happen if he brought Xanny over to his friend Dan's house... That probably wouldn't end up particularly well.

She watched the blonde begin to climb, but only for a few minutes before she turned and scurried over to the other side of the rooftop. She looked down at all the people, the lights, and the stores. She crouched and pawed at the edge as she watched all the humans flit by, laughing and talking with each other. The Lo’ki blinked and tilted her head, why were they all being so nice to each other now? Maybe it was a night thing that the humans had…they were only nice at night. She sniffed the air, nearly letting out a squeak of delight simply from the smells of the food below her. Such unique and odd smells, but her mouth was watering nonetheless. Her tail swished from side to side as she thought, soon enough though the blonde one made it to her and began to speak again. She pouted at him, her eyebrows furrowing in frustration. He kept speaking, but she didn’t understand anything that came out of his mouth.
She said nothing in return, just gave him that look before scurrying over to the side that the brunette was climbing up. She crouched near the edge and looked down at him quizzically, why was he taking so long? She leaned down to him, extending her hand once he got close enough to her. The Lo’ki’s tail curled in toward her back, for someone so ditzy sometimes, she could sure hold eye contact with people at odd times. She didn’t know that it could sometimes make people uncomfortable, it wasn’t as if someone had given her a crash course on Earthling manners or anything.

As he neared the top, Tommy could hear Miles talking to the creature... He was bound and determined to make her happy... If he didn't know any better, Tommy would almost expect Miles to want to keep her with him, as something of an intelligent pet... But, something told him that Miles was above subjecting sentient creatures to such treatments... And, while she wasn't able to communicate with them, her actions and walk made it clear she was on a level of consciousness above merely existing. She seemed to have a deeper life to her, as if everything that was experienced was, in some way, a new mystery for her to solve. Judging by how playful and active she was, Tommy wasn't sold that she was fully mature, whatever species she was, her childlike curiosity seemed to belay that feeling.
When she suddenly ran to the edge and held her hand over the edge, Tommy allowed himself to grab on, and to kick himself over the edge, using her strong grip to keep from falling. Once he was squarely on the roof, he released her hand, and looked about where they were. "We're about a mile from my place... The roofs are close together, and most of these buildings are about the same size," Needing a way to defend his knowledge of the rooftops, Tommy quickly made something he hoped sounded convincing up, "I like to look around the city some nights, when I work out lyrics, or just feel like enjoying the wonders of our society, to remind myself why the AGN is allowed to wield it's power the way it does..."
"At any rate, we should be able to make our way there pretty quickly... I'm not quite as agile as you, but, as long as you aren't too worried about speed, we should get there soon enough." Turning from Miles, Tommy came face to face again with the alien, "I know you don't understand me... So... Let's see if we can't find some way to communicate here, dear."
Thinking for a moment, Tommy decided to try a new tactic. First, Tommy drew a rudimentary depiction of a small house in the dust on the roof. Once he was happy with what it looked like, he added in figures meant to represent himself, Miles, and her a few buildings away. Drawing an arrow from where they were to what represented his house, Tommy hoped she'd understand the basic concept he was trying to convey... Or, at the very least, that he didn't come off looking like a complete fool...

She ended up pouting at him. Maybe she was getting annoyed that he was talking so much? Probably. After all, if everyone around Miles was talking to him in Chinese, he would get pretty annoyed pretty quickly. Though, wouldn't anyone? Xanny's reaction was only natural. That seemed to be a trend. Unaffected by society, belonging now to a group completely different than her own. Hopefully she could take to learning pretty well. Miles figured that learning was just about essential to any sort of society, even in animals. So... The same would have to be for her. Miles knew she wasn't like other kinds of animals. She was more than that, whether Tommy thought it to be so or not.
When Tommy began drawing, Miles watched. He guessed that he was drawing his house and the three of them. Not exactly the best artist, but who was Miles to judge? A familiar grin slowly crept onto Miles' face as he turned to Tommy.
"If your plan doesn't work, I've got something myself, but you're gonna have to keep up." Miles hoped that she would know what Tommy was trying to convey, but then again his plan could end up being more fun... A lot more fun.
Miles was probably in the best mood ever right now. First, he meets Tommy MacGrady, one of his idols. Then he meets just about the coolest alien ever. Then he gets proof of meeting that alien in the form of his hoodie. Then he ends up running on the rooftops- just like he loved to do- to Tommy's house, where he was going to be spending the night. He had to take a picture with something or nobody would believe him. Actually, on second thought, his friends would probably think he photoshopped everything. Whatever, at least Miles knew he had the best day ever.

She helped pull the brunette up and loomed behind him, seeing him as the leader, since the blonde seemed to listen to everything he said and since she had no clue as to what she was doing. She wished to stay with them, perhaps she was just being clingy, but she wanted some source of familiarity that she could trust in such a strange world. The Lo’ki’s tail curled inwardly again as she watched the brunette begin to draw on the dusty ground. She knew exactly what she was doing, but because visibly uncomfortable, as if what he was doing sparked something within her memory. That’s just what it did in fact, it reminded her of the plans her Father had made before the assault on the Human bases, he had drawn them in the ground with his claw as all the warriors gathered around, avidly drinking in everything he said.
The Lo’ki looked down at the brunette before folding up her legs enough for her to comfortably reach down for the drawing. She unhinged the claw on her index and drew a tail on the middle figure, with that she put her claw away, stood quietly, and walked back to the edge. Her demeanor changed, not without reason; however, she always became more serious on missions…or well, in this case things that reminded her of missions. She could tell that they were trying to get to another building, but she could not understand the reason for it. The Lo’ki didn’t understand the human concept of a ‘home’. A home on her planet was the large, hollow pockets in the giant trees that made up the forests, so it was only understandable that she had no clue what their target was.
She let out a small croon before breaking into a run, leaping across the alley and landing smoothly on the next roof. The Lo’ki slowed, turned her head to look at the two humans, and then continued her journey across the roofs, her pace slow and steady for her kind in case the humans wished to adjust her direction.

Glad at the reaction she had to his drawing, though surprised at her suddenly taking off, Tommy couldn't help but smile a bit at the whole situation. For the first night in a while, he was out on the town, helping people, without hiding behind the battle suit and gas mask... As much as he loved the get up, and as entertaining as it could be to run around as Soundbyte, sometimes, it really was nice to just be himself... More than that, though, was that he'd be running around on the rooftops, without hiding his face... In a lot of ways, it was his way of slapping authority in the face. A way to challenge them to come and get him, to try and force him to be what they demanded those with powers to be. Hell, even without his powers, he was more than confident that he could deal with anything Big Brother could potentially send after the creature, after all, he wasn't exactly on his own in every fight now, was he?
Laughing a bit as he began running after the creature, to keep her on the right path, Tommy continued his conversation with Miles as he moved. "So, still worried about needing your idea?" As he reached the end of the rooftop, Tommy leaped freely between the buildings, landing in a roll and continuing to move. "Or about me keeping up?"
Fortunately, the creature had run off in the right direction, though... Something about her playful demeanor had changed... She seemed almost as if she were more focused... More serious... Maybe she'd misunderstood what was going on, if only a little...
Tommy pushed those thoughts aside, however, as he attempted to catch up to the creature, to ensure she'd end at the right building. On the rooftops, they were only about five minutes travel away, and as long as she didn't wander off on her own, well... Things should go just swimmingly.
Plus, once they arrived, Tommy could get back to relaxing. Pop in a favorite movie, maybe the horror classic Peeping Tom since he doubted either Miles or the creature had seen it, cook a nice, big dinner... And, most importantly for Tommy, spend an evening kicking back and enjoying the sublime lifestyle he was expected to have, for once without worrying there were bigger things for him to handle outside of himself. After all, tonight, he wasn't alone in needing to be taken care of... Miles had said he had no home, so having a comfortable room would do the other man some good... And the creature, she deserved a warm bed, if nothing else... She could probably use a lesson or two in understanding English, too. More to keep herself from getting shot again than anything else, though...

She drew a tail on the middle drawing and was off. Miles laughed just a bit, thinking that the coolest thing ever. It looked like she knew what the plan was. Still, something about her didn't seem quite right. Her previous mood seemed to have changed completely to something much more serious and businesslike. Miles, for the life of him, couldn't infer why. He could understand why she was initially scared, he knew that she wanted to play tag, but her reasoning this time managed to evade him completely. Watching her go across the alley filled Miles with joy- he would get a chance to show off his skills! Tommy took off before Miles, and Miles quickly caught up and slowed to his pace.
"Nah, not so much," Miles replied to his first question regarding his plan. But Tommy's second question... A small grin made its way once more onto Miles' face.
"You ain't seen nothin' yet, seeya there!" He said this without a hint of arrogance, his tone only comprised of freedom and fun.
He broke out into a full run, a bit faster than his normal pace. Miles found himself catching up to Xanny rather quickly, hurtling obstacles, even ducking under one of them. Something told him Xanny was going easy on them, but Miles didn't take offense. Miles knew these rooftops so much better than the streets, and likely better than anyone in the city. Up here, he was about the best map you could get. But, put him on the streets... Oh, that never worked out too well. He had a few routes he normally went on to the various parks, but besides that there wasn't really anything he knew about the streets. He could keep up his normal pace all day, but he thought maybe he could hold this one comfortably for an hour or so. Plenty of time, really, with his adrenaline pumping and helping him to get along.
The next alley was approaching quickly, and Miles momentarily sped up. He loved this jump right here. There was this weird vent box thing that he always wanted to try to land on, just to see if he could avoid a roll. It interrupted his flow, so this would cut his time by seconds, easily. Seconds were like hours in Miles' times. It was pretty odd, since he was generally a patient person, but he didn't really pay much mind to the paradoxes within himself. He leapt the alley, his eyes fixed on the box. He landed on it and his knee gave way just a bit, but he was fine. The previous rooftop was just about level with the structure, if not a bit lower, so it was perfect. Miles now had just one more trick up his sleeve should he ever get caught on the rooftops, running from something. That would be particularly grand. He flashed a quick smile to Xanny and Tommy before facing forward again and continued to run, hoping to convey a spirit of lightheartedness to Xanny.

The Lo’ki’s eyes darted all around; taking in every possible path as her mind quickly deduced what path would be the best for her. She didn’t know why she couldn’t fly to this building, why were the humans choosing to simply run? Her hip began to throb again, she felt something tear and somehow she knew that the wound had begun to bleed again. The Lo’ki let out a hiss and came to a stop. Her arms fling forward and then back, as if she were trying to flap her wings. She should just fly there; she looked toward the blonde one, tilting her head thoughtfully. Would she be able to carry him? No, she shouldn’t carry him – she should carry the older, slower brunette, which would be the most efficient thing to do. The Lo’ki arms float up in a bird-like way as she waits for the brunette to reach the rooftop she was on.
She hops on her good leg as her skin parts, letting out her wings again. The Lo’ki beats her wings a few times, getting up into the air. She moves behind the brunette, her finger-like appendages on her feet latching on to the brunettes shoulders, if he remained still and didn’t protest that is, like a hawk would to a dead rat. No one below would see her, as no one actually looked up at the rooftops in New York, they were much too busy with their own lives to worry about three figures messing around on the rooftops – even if one had wings. The Lo’ki flapped her wings again, trying to get higher into the air. The weight and pressure was more on her legs than her hips, it would be much better on her wound than running.

After jokingly egging Miles on, Tommy'd quickly found himself left behind. He didn't mind so much, actually... Though, he found it somewhat amusing that Miles already knew where he lived... Hopefully, this wasn't the kind of fanboy that would sneak into his room in the middle of the night to cut him into pieces... Of course, he hadn't mentioned Catcher in the Rye or shown any signs that he believed he was Holden, so Tommy wasn't particularly worried about that. Still, the creature seemed to be slowing down, the wound likely bringing it some pain... Poor thing, dealing with the rat bastards that claimed to be 'protecting' the general populace... From everything but the criminals half the force worked for as it was...
When she suddenly leaped into the air, and came to pick Tommy up, he didn't offer any resistance as he was lifted. As long as she could handle his weight, it'd be a good way to ensure they stopped at the right house, which was only a few buildings away. Thankfully, he had a door to the roof that he kept unlocked. Made it easier to get back home when he just had to push a button to cause the sound of a flock of birds on the roof for him to teleport to. Besides... The odds of anyone getting onto his roof, into his house, and close enough to actually damage him, all without him knowing, were so low, it wasn't even a joke.
"Alright, Miles... Looks like I'ma be getting a lift back... You seem to know where you're heading so if you end up getting there first, just wait on the roof... Shouldn't take the two of us here too long to show up!" Looking up to the female alien, Tommy silently prayed that she didn't suddenly drop him without any noise around... The last thing he needed was to land on the city streets in an unrecognizable heap of flesh, bone, and nano-bots from his combat suit...
(If you'd like, either of you can have us end up at the home in your post, and you can God Mod Tommy to let you in, or anything you need him to do, like getting off Xanny or anything, lol)

He was running, enjoying himself. That was all he was doing until Miles happened to look up for just a moment so look at the sky. The sky was nice, as it usually was, but still not amazing. But on this night, there was something flying around. Something that was oddly Xanny shaped, carrying something oddly Tommy MacGrady shaped. It was nice to know that Miles wasn't the only one who had an amazing day.
"Hey, cheater!" Miles shouted jokingly, followed by a fit of laughter that cut short due to Miles' need for oxygen. That was always pesky when he was trying to run. But, still, he almost enjoyed the brief moment of being alone. Even when Tommy said that he probably knew what his place was, which he didn't. Well, that was kind of a lie. His friend was kind of a creeper and knew where just about everyone famous lived, and looked them up on google maps or something. He was weird. Miles didn't know why he was friends with him. Probably because he was, despite his creepiness, kinda cool. And made amazing burritos. And was cool with Miles visiting every now and then. Yeah.
Surprisingly, Miles recalled- albeit vaguely- where Tommy lived. It was... Somewhere coming up. Miles knew that. Jumping over pipes and ducking under higher pipes, he looked ahead, trying to scan the area for anything that looked like the image he had in his head. Night goggles would so help right now. Miles made a mental note to buy some. Ebay probably had at least twenty thousand pairs! Maybe he could order them from Tommy MacGrady's place. Ordering night vision goggles from Tommy freaking MacGrady's place with an alien creature who can fly.
Needless to say, on the rest of the way to Tommy's place, Miles was grinning like an idiot.
Upon arriving at what Miles could only assume was his place, he stumbled upon a door. This had to be his place, how else would they enter from the roofs if not from a door? Well, there were always was trying to enter from a window, but that would be... Difficult. Miles believed that this was the place, he was so close to entering. But, to be respectful, he briefly turned his gaze upward to try to spot his two companions.
