with another regionals title under their belts, vocal adrenaline had
the "summer off." but having the summer off didn't mean the same
to them as it did to the other schools in the area. it meant they still
practiced for five days a week for six hours. now its the fall again,
and they're working hard towards nationals, although this year it
won't be quite the same. with jesse st. james and the rest of the
seniors graduated and on to bigger and better things, they've got to
audition and condition the new freshmen. to make matters more
difficult, their coach shelby corcoran is on a leave of absence with her
new baby. so in addition to training a load of new freshman, they
have to train a new coach: a newly "sober" april rhodes, hot off her
broadway debut in the first all white cast of the wiz.
this year, its time to shimmy and shake, because you have to prove
you've got what it takes.
